Niamh Parsons
Born and raised in Dublin, Niamh has always been surrounded by music. Her father taught her traditional Irish songs and the joy of singing. Her reputation as a superb singer and performer is well established on both sides of the Atlantic. Niamh has performed in Washington for the President of the USA, and also at New York's Summer Soltice Festival. She has toured the UK, Europe, America, Canada, and Japan, appearing at most of the major festivals with her guitarist Graham Dunne whose superb and sensitive musical skill enhances Niamh's performance. Niamh has three albums all of which have received huge critical acclaim; "Blackbirds and Thrushes"(2000) - "In my Prime"(2001) and "Heart's Desire (2002) which was credited in 2003 with an "Indie" award for best traditional album.
